Dominic and Brennan finally gave me a shot at being a ZOOperstar! after talking to them for 8 years. I had been the mascot at Bellarmine (“Professor Knight” for a year and also had some experience as “Rivie The Raccoon” at River City Indoor Soccer Club. I’m a performer and entertainer at heart…ask my wife. She just wishes I would shut up all the time and thinks I try to be the center of attention. What does she know??? Just kidding. We have a two little girls, Samantha and Taylor Marie, who are AWESOME!!! We also have two dogs (Libby & Delaney). Oh….and I LOVE the University of North Carolina.

Favorite ESPN “Personalities”: Let’s see….personalities…they have to be Outgoing & Happy…..that just adds to the show when they’re announcing. If they have a bad personality or are just angry……that’s not good for being on SportsCenter. OK…bad joke…I actually like Dick Flytale…I mean Vitale…..he’s a little loud & obnoxious, but he knows his stuff. Jay Bilas & Stuart Scott are good too.

Most Memorable ZOOperstars! moment: My first performance. I was Zerk Jr. and my battery got disconnected as we were going on. It looked like I was going to have to sit out of that skit. Well, we got it working and I was zipping up the costume and inflating as we walked out on the field. What luck!!! |
